Los productos de la amazonía peruana poco a poco están conquistando el mercado internacional, el camu camu es uno de ellos. Esta fruta es considerada como el producto con mayor contenido de vitamina C y además esta entre las cinco frutas más solicitadas a nivel mundial. Ante el auge de la exportación del camu camu la empresa corporación Amazónica Selvida tuvo la idea que sacar al mercado los refresco de camu camu. En la lista de países a los que se exporta el camu camu también se encuentra Canadá y el Reino Unido y se estima que la exportación del camu camu crecerá en un 79% en este año. Además del camu camu, se están exportando el café y el cacao, esto promovido por el Gobierno Regional de Ucayali. La región amazónica por estar ubicada estratégicamente posee los más grandes productos, gracias a la biodiversidad que posee. Ante esta riqueza, la empresa Selvida continuará explorando para dar a conocer los frutos de la amazonía peruana.

….This is the track that I use for my intro to vids. The artist is known as Camu Tao who died in 2008 due to lung cancer complications. Camu came up in the game with underground contemporaries Copywrite, Jakki The Motamouth, Tage Proto and RjD2 forming the group Mhz. This track is from the classic album by Mhz called “Table Scrapz”. There’s some history in between his Mhz days and his later days obviously but the details are a bit sketchy, at least from a fan’s perspective. All I know is there was a falling out with Copywrite (possibly a physical altercation) among other things. He was signed to the indie hip-hop powerhouse Definitive Jux shortly before his passing. Def Jux is supposed to be releasing his final album called “King Of Hearts” that he was working on before he died. Until then, go cop “Table Scrapz” by Mhz and look for a few of Camu’s underground gems (their names elude me!).

Camu Tao (born Tero Smith, June 26, 1977 – May 25, 2008) was an American rapper and producer who was signed to the Definitive Jux label. He was a part of the duo SA Smash with fellow rapper Metro, a part of the rap group Weathermen, and the Central Services production team with El-P. Smith was also a member of the music collective Cardboard City. He was also part of Columbus, Ohio’s MHz crew with Copywrite, RJD2, Jakki Tha MotaMouth Tage Proto, and with Cage, half of The Nighthawks, who made one album during a single three-day creative session. Smith died on May 25, 2008, after a two-year battle with lung cancer. At the time of his death, he was working on his first solo album for Definitive Jux, which the label still plans to release.
