Question by : How would you know if the perfume is authentic?
I am planning to buy a perfume from a retail store which sells different perfumes. I am planning to buy a Lacoste Challenge or a Clinique Happy perfume. How would you know if the products they sell are authentic?

What retail store is this? Is it a large national chain or a small store? If it’s a large national chain like Sephora or Macy’s you will probably be getting a genuine bottle of perfume. If it’s a small store then be a bit wary.

You can ask them if you can see the box and they should hand it to you to hold and you can inspect it there. Look at the details on the box to make sure everything is in the right place. Check the cellophane if there is any. It should be clean, crisp and affixed properly.

Check the spelling to make sure everything is spelled correctly. Before you go out and buy the perfume look up the bottles and the boxes the bottles come in and study the design elements. When you’re standing int he store, check over these design elements to make sure everything is in the right place. Some counterfeits have gotten so good that the boxes the fakes come in are either real boxes or look extremely authentic.

Ask the store if they have a return and refund policy. Most reliable vendors should have a return policy and if they do not, then be very wary. This way you can buy the fragrance, take it home and take it out of its packaging to try it on yourself or to inspect the bottle. The smell or bottle inside the box would usually give it away as a fake.

I am a migraine and frequent headache suffer, so finding a perfume can be hard for me. I can not go into the store and smell many different ones because all it takes is one whiff of the wrong perfume and I am done for. I currently wear Be Delicious by DKNY and love it, but would like something different for my wedding day. Something that is romantic but sexy. Any suggestions?

NONE. As a fellow migraine sufferer, you really need to remove possible triggers. I urge you to leave it off. Maybe after the ceremony and reception you can put it on in the bedroom, but I would not tap-dance on a minefield.

Question by Sammykins: How do you remove the perfume of fabric softener or dryer sheets from clothes?
I’ve recently bought some nice clothing items on eBay. The only trouble is that some of them have been laundered with fabric softener and/or dryer sheets, and they smell really strongly of that perfume. I don’t want my clothes to smell like anything besides clean clothes, and those perfumes actually make me kind of sick. Repeated washings don’t seem to remove the smell. Does anyone know a trick to remove fabric softener perfume from laundered clothes?

Try washing them with baking soda in the wash cycle and vinegar in the rinse cycle.

Question by : After I shave it feels so strange on the lip?
Im 14 and I shave 1-2 times a week. After everytime, my overlip feels like it is sleeping. Like, when I touch it it feels bigger than before.

Is it normal to feel like this after shaving?
