Apple Will Unveil New OS, iOS, and iCloud at This Year’s WWD
Worldwide Developers Conference is trending hot on Twitter thanks to an Apple press release about the software it plans to unveil at this year’s gathering. Steve Jobs, who is currently on medical leave, will announce the release of Apple’s new operating system, Lion, iOS 5, for the iPad, iPhone and iPod, and iCloud, Apple’s foray into cloud services. Tech sites like Gizmodo have been speculating since March that Apple could very well release the iPhone 5 to accompany the latest iOS. But, in typical Apple fashion, that was absent from the press release, leaving Apple fans to wait and wonder in the days leading up to the conference.

Yes iOS 5 will be available to download on the first generation iPad and iPod touch 4th generation. Apple isn’t like android team. Of they were a lot of us would be out of luck as far as updates are concerned.

@mrjako112 You can see the conference at apple.com. Just type events in the search bar and search for it on apple’s site. It will be on apple’s Events page on the site.
Will iOS 5 be for the iPod Touch 4th Gen?
I hope iCloud wont be so expensive, or maybe be a home server type setup on a time capsule, that would be great.
